  • Pastry Chef: Responsible for baking breads, pastries and desserts.
  • Personal Chef: Working together with single or multiple clients to provide meals that best fit the clients’ nutritional needs, lifestyle and palate.
  • Restaurant Manager: Manages restaurant for owner, schedules employees, works with the chef to promote quality food service that is professional and timely.
  • Catering Director: Promotes and organises banquets and catered events.
  • Food Writer: Producing cookbooks, recipes, blogs and other content for either their own venture or major clients & companies.
  • Food Styling: Presenting food in aesthetically appealing ways, food stylists can often find opportunities freelancing for major publications and media houses.

Eligibility

Pass in Class 12 in any discipline with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Procedure

Students seeking admission to BSc (Hons) are required to submit the Admission Enquiry form available on apply.nitte.edu.in
On receipt of the query, the Admission Section will guide the students with the process of registration and admission. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Documents required for admission(Original + 3 attested copies)

  • 10th standard marks card / pass certificate for proof of date of birth
  • 12th standard or equivalent marks card/pass certificate
  • Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended
  • Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended
  • Migration Certificate from the Board of the institution last studied
  • Eligibility Certificate issued by the Nitte University (This will be handled by Nitte)
  • Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
  • Blood group certificate
  • Copy of Aadhaar card of the student
  • Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background, of resolution 300-600 dpi & size 35 mm x 45 mm (PP size 5 Nos.) & size 20 mm x 25 mm (Stamp size 5 Nos.)

Commencement of Course

The program commences on the date prescribed by the University generally during the month of August..
