Enchanting Christmas Tree Gala: A Spectacular Fusion of Competitions, Culinary Delightsand Charitable Spirit

The Christmas Tree Gala held on 16th December 2023 was a mesmerizing celebration that brought together the community in a joyous and festive atmosphere. The event was a delightful blend of various competitions, delectable food stalls and a heart-warming commitment to charity.

The gala featured a plethora of competitions - Christmas Card making, Best Little Santa in Town, Star-making, Christmas cake presentation, Carol singing, Christmas theme fashion show which added an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.

To keep everyone engaged, lucky games counter was also set up. The gala was a haven for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of culinary delights to satisfy every palate. The stalls served a delectable spread of treats, including baked goodies, chats, kuswar, cakes, waffle & bobas, mocktails, barbeque chicken etc.

The Christmas Tree Gala embraced a commitment to charity and kids from Sanidhya and Riya Foundation were invited to participate in fun activities.

The event began with the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Ms. Chandravathi, Kannur Ward Corporator was the chief guest. The college band led by Anish Veigas kept the Christmas spirit alive. Deva Pinto and Liya K compered the event and entertained the crowd with games and activities. All the winners were given gift hampers and freshly baked cakes.

The entire event was planned and executed by the Student Committee, led by Student Coordinator Karan Nair and Staff Coordinator Mr Donald Dsouza.
